Case: AIGA held a contest to designa mailer/poster for their annual Seniors Portfolio Show. My entry conveyed hownerve-wrecking yet necessary it is to display your work and learn fromcriticism. I chose to roughly illustrate young birds, symbolizing students,learning to take their first steps and preparing for the real world aftercollege. The poster is meant to visually entice and encourage seniors to submittheir portfolio for review and take flight toward their new career in design.
